WORLD PASTA DAY BACK TO MEXICO CITY IN 2012
TO CELEBRATE THE FOOD OF THE FUTURE


Five years after the 2007 edition of World Pasta Day, the leading figures of the world pasta industry will celebrate again in Mexico City on October 25, 2012 the World Pasta Day, established in 1998 - following the 1st World Pasta Congress held in Rome in 1995 - to commemorate the delicious, nutritious and versatile role pasta plays in a healthy lifestyle.

 

Hosted by Amexigapa (Asociación Mexicana de Industriales de Galletas y Pastas), the World Pasta Day 2012 Conference "Pasta food of the future: for taste, for health and for convenience" – will offer an occasion to discuss the progress made in the spread of a food that nutritionists all over the world consider fundamental in a healthy eating pattern., while at the same time also providing an occasion for an exchange of views on the trends and prospects for world pasta industry and its supply chain.

 

The Conference will be followed by the IPO Annual General Assembly and, in the afternoon, by the Opening of the Exhibition "El mundo de la Pasta" and the World Pasta Day 2012 Gala Dinner, at the Museo Modelo de Ciencias e Industria (MUMCI), in Toluca.
